Winter walking route Lech post office

Route description
The route begins in Lech just below the interesting parish church, next to the post office. It follows the river for a short way as far as the Landbrugg, the road bridge between the Lech-Oberlech cable car and the Schlosskopf lift. In the part of the village known as Strass, opposite the chapel of St. Martin, a prepared snowy path leads up the hill in hairpins through the woods. In the Burg area you reach a junction with the ski piste, which can be crossed without difficulty. Once you reach the top station of the gondola, continue along a footpath leading further uphill. You will pass various guest houses and restaurants with sun terraces to arrive at Schlössle, the highest hotel settlement in the resort. Here, by the last few houses, you will meet a connecting walking track, newly established and not difficult, squeezed in between the ski pistes. This track will bring you, in  approx. 15 minutes, to the Tannegg view-point. On the way back, retrace your steps as far as the Schlössle settlement, then fork off left by the Hotel „Goldener Berg". This track will bring you in an long curve to the Berg hamlet, and thence back to the Landbrugg and your starting point.
