In winter  guests can reach Lech : From the east (eg from Innsbruck) via the A12 Inn Valley motorway and the Arlberg pass or tunnel. From from the west (eg from Lindau on Lake Constance) via the A14 Rhine Valley motorway. The Flexenpass road then leads up to Lech via Zürs. Guests should note that the road linking Lech and Warth is closed all winter from December to April. As a result, you cannot reach Lech by driving via either the Bregenzerwald or the Lech valley. In winter please ensure that you bring the appropriate winter equipment with you (winter tyres and snow chains).

• In Summer you can also reach Lech via the Bregenzerwald and the Hochtannberg, as well as via the Tyrolean Lech valley. 
• Austrian motorways are toll roads. The required vignettes can be bought on the Austrian border, at petrol stations and at post offices.

The nearest airport is Innsbruck (110 km) from whence there are good rail connections to Langen am Arlberg. Zürich International Airport (200 km) can be reached in 2 hours and Friedrichshafen (120 km) in an hour and a half. München (300 km) is approximately 3 hours' journey. Transfers are available to all the above airports.
